Frequently Asked Questions
You're not alone, many of our customers are new to home inspections. Here are some common questions and some quick answers to them.
What is a home inspection?
A home inspection is an overall look at the condition and performance of a home. The inspection itself is a checklist of all the parts of a home and how they appeared when they were inspected. The minimum report standards are made by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC).
Do I need a home inspection?
If you are buying or selling, it is likely you will need an inspection soon. Ask your agent about when a home inspection will be right. If you are building a new home, all of the parts are visible before its finished. Is it a bad idea to have an inspector look at it before everything is covered up?
How much does an inspection cost?
We want to charge fairly, so our prices reflect the specific property features. Our online scheduler automatically calculates your inspection cost. It will show you the price before you commit to anything. Go to the "Schedule Now" button in the "Contact Us" drop down menu.
Do you offer any discounts?
We offer military/veteran discounts, as well as discounts for ALL first responders (LEO, Fire, EMS, Dispatchers and Call-takers). If you fit these categories, just ask for your respective coupon code by clicking here.
